There is a need of administering the entire time & expense tracking process. This is the responsibility of the administrator. This person triggers the process elements, creates the necessary data for billing and is responsible for defining and editing the various reporting categories. The functions available to an administrator or a system administrator are listed and explained below. Beneath those functions, billing and editing are the most prominent administration tasks. |

Trigger emails |
| The entire time & expense tracking process is triggered by email. It starts with a welcome email for people unfamiliar with this system. The we have usually weekly reminder emails and last but not least emails to the management to remind on approvals. As you see below, the information within the email may have different forms. For the time tracking reminder, the entry form itself can be sent as html or attachment or a link to the entry form. This entry form is customized for each recipient. | |

Coverage and Distribution Reports |
| Reports for the administrator are coverage and distribution reports. These reports show how time and money is spent. In contrast to the manager reports, these reports cover all people in this Time Track database. An example of the member distribution report is below. | |

Export functions |
| We do not provide all the reports that are
wishful for your organization, but we give you an extract function that
allows to gather all time and expense data as XML or CSV file. Therefore
you may create your own evaluations on the data. Additionally, the General Select & Export functions give a system administrator even more flexibility to extract information from Time & Expense Tracking for your own needs. Here is an example of this function
